An express train of kintetsu railway passes by at rather high speed. Connecting my at835st to a newly purchased edirol r-44. I actually bought it for need of recording four channels of drums sound, but i was completely astonished by its great ability as a field recorder. Wonderful mic preamps, aren't they?.

This is a field recording from my friend walker's yard in las cruces, nm that i made on a band tour in may 2006. There is a horse running by on the road at one point and some dogs in the background, but the morning doves stand out the most and sound really beautiful at points. I had a sound on my digital recorder. It had some sort of harbour feeling. To amplify that feeling i used pkoracs recording of "marina in kolding (denmark) in wind". So part modular synth part field recording. (https://freesound. Org/s/90721/).

Very complex sound which took a lot of effort to make. Used different techniques to create the punch. The drop was created by creating a body out of pillows sand ect. Layered and used effects.

There was a big storm in my city and i opened the windows to feel the draught. I nearly closed my door. I left a little bit space only and i recorded the sound of this little space:).

In this recording you can hear book pages being turned manually at a slow but stable rhythm, at the library la fraternitat in la barceloneta. You can hear the page sliding agains other pages, creating a sound that almost reminds us of a knife; and the noise of the page being laid down. In this field-recording you hear someone (well, me) walking through snow. You hear the typical crunchy sound of snow and the leather boots squeak too.
